I don't think you need to show proof of religious affiliation. I just think religious exemption won't work for this one because it's not the same as wearing a hijab or not. People's lives are in your hands when you're the doctor, and you may be spreading it to patients.

I wonder how the employer would react if you presented them with a waiver to sign that puts the complete responsibility of you involving covid on them once you get the vaccine b/c they're threatening your employment with it.

A cardiology fellow from SUNY Downstate told he doesn't trust the science either. He said he would wait a couple years and see how it goes for the rest of the world. Also, half of the attendings at my wife's job aren't vaccinated. It's only sheeple that lined up for big pharma's needle without asking a single question. Were phase III trials conducted on humans? Did the CDC, given the dire world situation, allow vaccine companies to skip necessary years of trials that go into any drug/vaccine? There you go boyo.

people in the medical field are all required to get the shot and you can't use the religious excuse anymore.

so either she gets a job somewhere else or she takes the jab it's not that hard to understand and this only the beginning just now.

I'm in the medical field, too. Chicago has ~20 hospitals which offer GME. If all I'm left with is Wisconsin, which has about 6 GME hospitals, I may as well not have a job next year unless I get the vaccine.

The future was starting to look brighter. Masks were not mandatory anymore. Vaccinated people could hang out in a room together without a mask, etc. but yes, I see now that this is the beginning of the end.

Idk about that miscer, but we've got 3 progeny. A mutual friend of ours who finished pediatrics residency this June just gave birth at like 6-7 months...is it the vaccine? she got it while pregnant. Then again, is it just a variation of what's normal? Hard to tell.

So far the courts are siding with enforcing the mandate which is a dangerous legal precedent IMO.

Not sure if it can be confirmed, but I've read/heard from a couple of sources now that these vaccines are not being held to the usual standard for safety and ethics.

Well the federal government is mandating the vaccine for their civilian employees. I read Google and maybe FB? are mandating that their employees be vaccinated.

The only way they don't steamroll all of us into surrendering our sovereignty over our own bodies is if a sufficient number of people refuse to comply.

If too many COVID patients are such a horrible tragic problem will they just roll with it if 20% of medical personal refuse the vaccine and #STRIKE?
