I remember seeing a short clip from it on a video they showed us at school when I was 13. I can't remember why it was on that video but I went home and bugged my parents to let me watch it. They eventually did.

Great movie.

GOAT movie, brah. Congrats on finally seeing it. Recently watched all four and the third one (Predators) is good too. The second and fourth are entertaining but you could skip them IMO.

Such a great movie. I saw it when I was a kid with my parents. It messed me up pretty good, because I remember for a long time I was afraid there would be predators in the backyard at night. Used to turn on the patio light and peak out of the windows to see if I could see his shimmer or something.

Dude it was great. I love that there's like 2 minutes of movie before they hop on helicopters and roll out. Let's fukken GOOO.

Bill Duke (super dark skinned black guy who's shaving all the time) had a great character too - him and Carl Weathers trying to sneak up on it was awesome.

Had a bunch of good beers and had a fine old time.

Back in high school I had a movie club called the Flaming Man Club - not flaming as in gay, but that 80s action movie trope where a guy gets lit on fire and runs around flailing his arms. We used to watch all the classic 80s action movies and cheer whenever there was a Flaming Man. I don't know HOW I never saw Predator back then, but there are like 4 flaming men in Predator, so I award it the maximum 10/10 80s movie trope points.
