Argument with Sister’s Baby Daddy (Covid)

Went out to dinner with my sister, nephew who’s 9 months old and my mom last night. We get back to her place, and he comes in 5 minutes after, just getting off work. We’re heading out and I go for the hand shake goodbye. Here’s how the convo went as he’s holding my nephew

BD: so you’re on board now?

Droopdx: on board with what?

BD: The vaccine, you got it?

Droopdx: no, I went to the doctor and tested positive for the antibodies

BD: what’s that mean?

Droopdx: it means I’ve already had covid, so I don’t need the shot

BD: well, you can’t be around your nephew until you get the shot

Droopdx: I’m around him all the time

BD: well, not anymore *takes a step back to get six feet away, ded fkn srs*

BD: start reading the paper

Droopdx: stop reading the paper *walks out*

Sister texted my mom later that night and said he stormed out after I left and said he doesn’t trust her with the baby because she allows me to be around him lmao

You should start going over to your sister's house as often as possible just to f uck with him. If you really want to scare him, get a tiny empty spray bottle, fill it with water and go over and pretend to sneeze on him. Part of it is my sisters fault. He thinks I never see my nephew, but I do once a week at least.

So when I said “I see him all the time” he started raging inside

I would think having a test showing you have natural antibodies to the virus should be enough. It wouldn't surprise me if that was superior to the vaccine.

At least that is how it has worked in my family. Years ago I was asked to get the chicken pox vaccine due to being around my young nephews. I went to my doctor and he said lets do an antibody test instead. I did that, and it came back positive for chicken pox. That was enough for my sister, thankfully.
