Lmao at coffee pods and instant coffee

1. Buy vacuum-sealed quality coffee full beans.

2. Buy a decent electric bean grinder.

3. Start a cup's worth of water in a tea/coffee kettle to boil.

4. During 3) grind a cup's worth of beans for 15 seconds.

5. Wait 30 seconds so the water goes from just boiling to hot.

6. Brew it and wait like 3-5 mins. The ground will sink.

Optional discard methods:

- Use the leftover ground at the bottom of the cup to enrich your plant soil - plant ea herbs or basil/rosemary.

- Use as an exfoliating mask 1x a week.

3-5 USD/GBP Starbuckcels are the worst.

Coffee out is about quality, coffee at home is about convenience. I ain't got time to play barista every time I want a cup at home. Bless you and your free time of you do.

Remove the bean grinding* process even though it is done while the kettle boils your cup so it does not add ANY time...

*You buy good quality ground coffee, store it in a vacuum container (to keep it from oxidising), and 1 heaped table spoon in a cup + hot water and you are done.

I make one pot of French press around when wife wakes up.

I also enjoy 2-3 nespresso pods a few hours before she wakes up and another later in the day.

I’m not grinding beans and cleaning my press multiple times a day. Fuk I don’t even clean it once just leave it in the sink for wife.

Nespresso ristretto with a strong short espresso pull tastes good. Keurig is garbage.

How does that make zero sense? I am home, have stuff to do or just want to enjoy my free time, not pretend I work at Starbucks, I'm out and it's easy to pay for quick quality coffee with no wasted time.

You're probably right and thinking about it grinding some beans while the kettle boils wouldn't be too bad... just noisy

Might give it a go

Yes, takes 15 seconds with a 10 USD electric grinder that doesn't need cleaning.

A kettle is something Canuckcels and UKcels, and possibly Aussiecels, have in their kitchen to boil water.

why? I showed you how the grinding process is during the boiling time of the water

alternatively, while the water boils you can go out in the garden soak up the morning sun (what I do when I wake up at 5:45AM), and then come back and put a table spoon of ground coffee (order directly the ground one instead of beans) and drink it like a proper Alpha cowboy

that is more quality than anything in starbucks

Kettle seems so obnoxious tbh. I just fill a glass liquid measuring cup from the hot spot on my culligan water setup and microwave it for 30morr seconds while grinding and measuring beans into French press.

Listen man with all due respect I don't want that ghetto trash water boiling device in my kitchen. If I wanted to spend time making coffee I'd really boiler water with a real kettle. But again, I don't don't want to spend all that time on coffee at home. Perhaps when I am retired.

Fill kettle with hot water from tap, heat up 1 minute until the following equation is true:

not hot enough, tastes unmixed < my coffee temp < too hot to immediately drink
