Incorrect. Bright red can indicate a problem in the lower half of the colon or in the rectum/anus. Cancer can absolutely cause bright red bleeding.

the brighter the less dangerous. Darker means the blood comes from deep within.

I once got bright blood came outta my an0os after a chit. I've been using NSAID's for a month though. Came out it's a common side effect.

Lol when I was in military they actually tested me for that due to protein in urine and elevated liver enzyms. Results didnt look fatal but he told me to get tested in 3 months. I never did

This happened in 2016

It's more than likely nothing serious. Especially if you're under 50 and don't have a history of colorectal cancer in your family. But I remember reading that something like 90% of colorectal cancer patients initially thought they had hemorrhoid's and never got it checked out because they didn't want to get checked for them or have a colonoscopy. Don't be dumb like them and just make sure it's nothing.

If you're under 50 and don't have a family history of colorectal cancer, then it's extremely unlikely to be that.

I remember the time I had some bowel troubles coupled with bleeding ass syndrome and I went to hospital.
