Would you bail out a good or best friend from jail?

Assuming you had the cash of course... and any limits or reasons you wouldn't

They should call their family.

How much is it typically to bail someone out of jail for say something like a DUI or Public Intoxication?

Yeah, I helped out a buddy once who got a DUI.

I signed some paperwork so his car was released in my name, and then he drove it out of the police station. I dunno why I had to sign the chit, they wouldn't release it to him for some reason. *shrugs*

Here In L.A. county a normal Dui is a misdemeanor, and public intox they just throw you in the drunk tank to sleep it off and then let you go.
