Waited for a pop on TSLA that didnt materialize. Ended up selling only 2 call contracts at 675 which expired worthless. PLTR 22C also expired worthless for total net of 870 foe the week.

TSLA earnings Monday looking to sell 710 calls.
WISH expired worthless but AAL also. Could not get a fill on AAL when I was up 50%. Very low volume. Note to self. BTO at low volume will likely be also STC at low volume. Fill may be hard or wide bid/ask. Net loss of 150 for the week.

Still holding SAM sep17 500p. Very low volume so not sure if it will print.

Crap reaction to TSLA earnings. They basically crushed it but hf are artificially keeping it down imo. One cnbc news article had 8 paragraphs on TSLA bitcoin position with only a brief mention in the last pargraph on earnings, which they handily crushed. Oh well.

Needless to say did not sell any TSLA contracts this week. 710C were plenty juicy on Tuesday but was away from my trading platform most of the day. Strategy now is for a little stress relief. Selling contracts every week is a little tiresome. Therefore will sell longer dated contracts to get some head space and think less about trading for the next couple of weeks.

My original small position was $300 pre-split when elon tweeted 'funding secured at 400'. Went balls deep at 400 after split. Roughly half my port, average cb about 475.

200 MA is ~$3.2k

My b/e would require a 12.7% decline from Friday’s close. This is following the recent 7 plus percent drop it just had.

I am prepared for some choppy waters these next 60 days, but if AMZN closes the year out -20% from its YTD high, there are some bigger problems to worry about.

Obviously I’m not going to say it’s a sure thing but fundamentals and movement over the past year point to it being not so risky, and also manageable with that strike, time, and premium.

Also BABA would be a buy if it just weren’t for that pesky ccp lol

Only if it's cash secured. No idea what his account size is, but Chino has portfolio margin, which allows you to sell options for a fraction of the actual underlying price you'd need for cash secured. It's still going to be a pretty big position to hold, but not 6 figures big.

Good sign for the mid term but closing below 700 for the week, I think it needs to fill the gap down to 687 before a sustained rally. 20EMA is 670 so a drop below would make sense at which point I will strongly consider buying leaps for a trade. If that all plays out in the upcoming week then I think we see a big jump to 775.

PLTR and WISH contracts expired worthless. Made a bit on TSLA puts this morning. Net 1100 for the week.

Mixed bag of wins and losses. All in all, happy with the outcome. TSLA was moving in the anticipated direction until Thursday and today when it peaked at 729. As expected, hard fade into close to 717.

PLTR popped and held better than expected. Rolled my 23.50cc to next weeks 24.00cc for total net credt of 1400 if they expire worthless.

WISH tanked hard on earnings and will be tough to sell calls for the next while.

SOFI and PAYO both dropped. Sold my 8/20 $17 CC on Sofi for almost nothing. Payo I sold my calls today too. I'll check what I netted once it settles. Still holding the $10 Nov calls and likely to sell more at current rates.

I closed everything today. Total profit between everything was $586.

Tsla and upst spreads were too unpredictable and not enough time to feel comfortable managing.

The baba play, I was about to open a naked set of calls for next week to have it fully paid for, but I just don’t like what’s happening and 99% chance the long leg was going to expire worthless no matter what.

Back to managing existing plays and no more new plays until October. Hopefully.

Sold SOFI $15.5 CC Sept weeklies yesterday for $50 each and I was about to start regretting it yesterday... not so now. Still sitting on October $12.5CSP for SOFI I got for $90 premium each. IMO its a fantastic price to get paid for the opportunity to have SOFI at $11.60 realistically. Obviously there is a chance SOFI goes much lower, but I am not super worried.

WFC the 47.5 call I sold is roughly at even money. Kinda sucks because I might have considered selling the shares I do own at $51+ or wrote the call at a much higher strike had I waited, but alas who knows the ebbs and flows of the stock market.

Opened KPLT 1/21/22 $5 CSP for $1.80 that are trading for $2.15 which sounds like a great deal if anyone is interested in trying to cash in some premiums. They appear to have bottomed out and I bought my CSP when the shares were trading at $3.80 being the impatient soul I am.

BARK I've got 9/17 $7.5 CSP I got yesterday for $80 each but now I'm not feeling particularly great about. The real pain in the ass is going to be the fact I can't really roll those out...

TSLA calls expired worthless. PLTR closed at 24.01 so will let my shares get called away and sell puts. This works out better since I can get 3-4x the premium than if I were to sell 20delta calls.

Overall pretty happy with how the week turned out. TSLA did not hold but I was able to anticipate a move and priced my options accordingly. Long puts on SAM and PLTR panned out to make a few extra bucks.

BTO TSLA Aug27 705c at the close hoping for Monday pop. LOTS of open interest on 750c so lets see what happens.

Total net for this week 5300.

TSLA 705C closed for a nice profit 2.5X. Bought 715c and 740c lottos mid week that didnt pan out. Was hoping the OI at 750c would pull the price upwards but didnt happen. Bullish Friday so still coukd see some upward movement and may plan a a play for another Monday pop.

PLTR holding strong. Only half my shares got called away so open a covered strangle of 26c/24.50p that expired worthless. Will do the same Monday.

Made a few bucks on AMC 40cc. STO Sep03 40c.

Got lucky on SPRT. Bought 30c after open and sold at premarket high at 2X.

TSLA IV plummet as the price crawled up. Waited too long and by mid week call contracts very cheap but ended up sto 755calls x4 and 695csp.

Traded BBIG for a juicy gain but left 2k on the table. Timed negative earnings reaction on CHWY for nice gain.

AMC 40cc closed for a loss.

Net realized for the week 4300.

For next week looking to see if AMC takes off. DIDI news that there may be a Beijing crackdown. TSLA FSD beta 10 release after Friday close so may see 750+.

Edit- so after looking at the charts I think it may be a possibility we retest 700 and as low as 682 this week. Shortened week due to monday holiday and volume will likely be low. Would be easier to walk this down to at least 20ema. If it does I will add at least 10 more shares.

AMC took off today. Tried to sell 55cc but didnt hit my price. DIDI up, no position. TSLA hit 760 this morning but premium not great. Could trickle up until end of week but I dont see it hitting 775. Most likely I think we consolidate for around 750 for a few days with still a possibility to retest 725 or lower.

May look to sell some SPRT 15P and take advantage of IV and theta burn.

AMC took off today. Tried to sell 55cc but didnt hit my price. DIDI up, no position. TSLA hit 760 this morning but premium not great. Could trickle up until end of week but I dont see it hitting 775. Most likely I think we consolidate for around 750 for a few days with still a possibility to retest 725 or lower.

May look to sell some SPRT 15P and take advantage of IV and theta burn.

Looking to net 2100 with these plays.
TSLA reacted to market by end of week as SPY dumped 2%+. Closed around 736. Im still looking at some consildation around 750. If SPY continues to dump then its very possible we retest 700.

Did not sell any SPRT puts. Was not comfortable with price action and 15p took a nosedive as theta killed premium.

BBIG put spread 9/9.50

Took a position on BBIG and hope to sell ITM calls upcoming week to exit. Still possibility we skyrocket but only looking for a quick play.

AMC could move big this coming week. Would like to sell 65c and exit position.

All contracts expired worthless this week for 3100 net.
