You don't matter, at all. No one really cares. You play a bit part in their story.

You should try to make friends with people who are in a similar situation or have similar circumstances to you, assuming those are good.

Never turn down an offer of kindness from someone no matter how mundane or small it might seem.

Sometimes it’s necessary to share your personal business with strangers

I was waiting at a bus stop and two homeless guys were sitting there. They asked me if I was catching the number one bus, and I said no. I felt that what I was doing was none of their business.

They waived the number four bus away (the one I was trying to catch) and it didn’t stop for me. If I had just shared with them that I was catching the four, that wouldn’t have happened.

Because I'm a Scottish working class peasant and I like to be around other Scottish working class peasants. It's my blood and my people. I don't think it's about bad v good or moral v immoral. It's just acknowledging that showing up to win v showing up to play is a different mentality, a different mindset. There are hard rules that you follow the letter of but not the spirit, and there are sportsmanship/ethics which is irrelevant. Doing your best, and doing what it takes to win are always different, and not always even close in scope.

Killers do what it takes to win and nothing else. It's not about being the best or fairest, life's about winning.

- How people treat you is largely dependent on your status and looks.

- Class is fixed, at least in Britain.

- The only people you can really rely on are your parents and close family.

- Redpill about women (and men); sloots gonna.

- The Jewish question.

- You can love a woman, be totally compatible but sometimes life gets in the way, baggage and emotional scarring can chop you up and throw a spanner in the works. Then life moves on and the girl you loved becomes a figment of the past.

People justify bad things in their lives to things they can’t control.
Ie. My dad was an *******, my husband/wife was the reason for divorce, I’m too old to do this or that, I could have been X but blablabla…

There’s a lot of it in this thread even.

I've come to realize that the majority of people are miserable, unsuccessful and just barely getting by (including family). HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that EVERYONE is such. For those who are a bad influence, I keep at arm's length or out of my life. For those I admire and respect, I cherish and value.

I TRY to avoid ASSUMING that someone will screw me over, I'd rather find out or put in effort first to find out if they're someone worthy of trusting (within obvious reasons). Sometimes those who are of value and have a moral compass can be withdrawn and cautious, and of course taking the first step can help weed out the garbage real quick.

Good for you to assume optimism. It is extremely obvious what kinds of people will screw you over. You could probably predict it fully before you meet them.

There's almost zero loyalty anymore, either in workplaces or friend circles. People are 99% of the time out for themselves. Even if you think they have your back, most people at the end of the day won't.

If you have to be slightly unethical to get ahead, you should definitely do it because nobody else will look out for you. Cheating at some things is the best way to get ahead.

Lots of guys are shooting for women WAY above what they should be. If you're actually a 5 don't expect to be dating 8's and learn how to settle if you want to get laid.

You shouldn't automatically give family members a free pass just because they are family. If they are idiots and dragging you down even when you try to have a good relationship, forget about them and move on.

I agree, but that is not how I was raised. It's very hard to transition to that state of mind (I'm still working on it) without feeling like you're a terrible person.

Pay close attention to your company. If they get upset at your successes, keep them at arm's length.
This isn't always obvious, some times it's passive aggressive. They're either dead weight or actively conspiring against you.

Read the 48 Laws of Power and notate the behavior. If you see someone else implementing most of those laws, they're almost always untrustworthy.
48 Laws of Power is basically a guide to being a sociopath.

When using a public restroom try and find the least comfortable looking stall then use that one to minimize ass to ass contact.

When you start a new job, your coworkers are probably as nervous meeting you as you are meeting them.

Always take a chance to sit if given the opportunity.
