Also gifyo raid (was like an early tiktok), miscers took over it, all the comments were like 'where have all these bodybuilders come from', miscers was getting lots of slooty gifs from sloots and trading them with each other lmao srs

I lurked back in the day but only made an account around 2015 and even then it was really busy.

Fewer and fewer websites get lots of traffic. Big tech really monopolised the internet so forums are pretty much dead. Reddit is walmart and this is a little niche shop. The occasional cool subreddit pops up now and then but they usually get nuked for being too edgy. Everything is so controlled now.

People kind of overrate it though. If you go to a 2011-2013 thread for example 90% of replies are “IN” or “SPOT FOR SALE”and other crap. Sometimes it takes 3 pages of a thread to get over it.
