Anyone else on a hamster wheel? (Srs)

Go to work, come home, rot, repeat. Don’t plan on having kids and unlikely to meet a wife material woman in this day and age. Tall + muscular but average face and introverted personality with little social media presence. Don’t see any other big changes happening in my life from this point forward.

Yep. My weeks are exactly the same. WFH techbro chit Mon-Fri where I stay inside literally 23 hours a day. Then a round golf on Saturday, rot on Sunday, repeat. Sometimes I'll mix Sundays up with hikes or trips to the beach. Been cleaning the rot pad today.

Literally all I do is lift and play video games. Sometimes I'll read (currently books on Stoic philosophy and some fiction) but holy chit does every day feel the same

It's ground hog day

Until recently i remember things being more random and fun. Now literally every day i go to work and groundhog day and then i come home and it's ground hog day. If i go somewhere else people are just watching the same shows. It's always ground hog day.

Mind blown that this is what all those hours and years of grinding in high school amounted to.

It feels like, at a certain point, life just "stopped". It's like there's no more stages, this is it

Whose fault is that? Go sign up for a triathlon, go hiking, train for something new, take up paintballing or something. Add some spice to your life. There are plenty of meet up and ******** groups out there filled with people just like you.

It's on you to make things happen. If you want life to be more exciting, then you better be putting yourself out there and connecting with people.

Life as an adult is literally just work every day until you can retire. Usually with a few vacation days in between where you sit on a beach somewhere and drink fruity alcoholic drinks.

Hopping on this feeltrain too

Life seems so much more boring after college

So much harder to connect with other people

Other people get into serious relationships and stop being friends

Other people get too busy and spontaneous trips/activities hardly ever happen

Just means the username has some relation to the post.

Like if someone posted "preworkouts suck" and their username was "PreworkoutBrah" someone would say that

Actually I drink on occasion. Used to drink every weekend when I was younger , but that slows down in your 40’s , unless your a total alchy I guess .
When I drink I drink to get pissed , as it’s almost like a holiday when you do some brain damage .
Sure I could drink 2 and call it a night , but I get a hangover on one , so why not just drink a 15 pack and call it a night .
Because I took a buy out from my previous job, I now work for the contracting company , and it’s almost impossible for me to work there with a hangover , so now I only drink when I have a week off , as I need 6-7 days to fully recover .
Unfortunately we get a week off very seldom, so I guess drinkings out.

If I’m in a certain mood I get very suicidal when I drink rye on an empty stomach. It’s almost like throwing a switch . I can be doing great earlier in the evening, then things can go south very quickly.
I don’t drink whiskey very often , but I get too bloated from beer sometimes,so I’ll buy a 26er of Gibson’s finest . Dam good rye imo

Living 1 mile from the beach in San Diego, making six figures with a masters in electrical engineering, and saving 25% of gross, so yeah....

Those factors can help increase your odds, vs say just chilling out in the middle of bumfuk Oklahoma or something, but in the end people just fundamentally want to be around you or they don't. I'm the natural born runt of the litter, with a Wincel-type underdevelopment where I look like I'm about 16 at age 26. Couple that with a slight but noticeable limp from some birth defects, and yeah... I'm just very clearly kind of dysgenic. Not the kind of brah you want to have on your flag football team. Not the kind of brah girls want asking them out on a date. Not the kind of child a parent dreams of having one day. I've literally been an outcast my entire GD life.

Gonna saddle up again and keep trying to make friends... but I've been categorically rejected by native born Americans my entire life, and the only friends I've managed to make are Indian H1-Bs who are just glad that a white dude wants to talk to them for once.

That's chit logic honestly. Happiness is relative.

A man in Africa whose name is a sequence of clicking sounds, with 16 children and works all day in smoldering heat with a cone on his dink to provide for his family can easily be happier and more fulfilled than anyone here.
