Probably the name. The logo

The sandwiches were slightly better quality but still cheap somehow. Like cheap but more flavor but not really a craving.

I could go either way on the sandwiches, on par with Subway. But can confirm, haven't eaten there for years solely because of their chit tier commercials. It got to the point where I'd scramble for the remote to change the channel when one came on. Gave me anxiety.

It's because they put too many damn onions on their sandwiches.

cliffs version: Most of there stores closed due to supply chain issues during the last financial collapse. Corporate would only allow you to purchase product from them. they fooked up and couldn't supply stores for weeks on end. a FEW franchisees were smart enough to say f the contract and bought there own food to serve but most of them just closed their doors and died. Must have been a rough time for small investors.

i honestly dont get how some companies run cringe ads and dont lose business for it. In my city this car dealer calls himself the pickle man get a car for a nickel with a super cringe jingle. Just on that alone they will never get my business.

Some franchises are licenses to print money. Others will suck the life out of you. It's not just location. You have to really, really do your research before buying a franchise.

Oh man when I was 16 I worked at Quiznos. Made the best sammiches there, they were legendary. My brother still brings it up. The quality was solid there, everything was fresh. The toasted goodness is unrivaled... Sad they aren't around anymore.
