If you are sick enough to be hospitalized you are probably going to be getting antibodies. Granted the number of people getting sick enough to require hospitalization might drop because they can be treated at home better, but as a whole I think they'll both be used for different groups. I'd bet money people who got vaccinated will be more likely to have milder symptoms and probably will be given pills to take at home. Non-vaxxed people are by far more likely to spend time hospitalized and the quickest way to treat is IV anyway. So odds are they'll get antibodies that will work faster regardless.

Also as far as I am aware there aren't antiviral pills that are further than phase 1 right now.

Even when Covid is gone SAB has influenza antibodies that they are working on as well. Those are their primary focus, but they've got some stuff for autoimmune diseases that could be useful too. Obviously my assumption is Covid/influenza is gonna get 'em paid tho

Glad I offloaded these a couple weeks back. They've been wasting my time for so long so I had to take the money and put it elsewhere! Is there any hope this thing finds a target this year lol?

I still think there is a legitimate chance they get Impossible. Srs. Saw some rumors on Reddit that there is some Khosla intermingling that could potentially put them in the running since Khosla Ventures are an early Impossible investor. Hope it happens and we all get fukkin paid. Either way I don't think you'll see $2.25-$2.50 without Bloomberg rumors and at that point you'll definitely want to stick around.

Also do Chamath's SPACs even have credible rumors? I heard he doesn't like to generate hype because it leaves bag holders and just in general it's not something he likes to do. Not only that but he believes it tends to keep things at a more honest valuation unlike something such as CCIV.
Because share price is pretty much going to be perma-stuck <$10 without credible rumors. There has been a retail shift from commons to warrants. Retail still hodling IPOF warrants even though they gave up on the commons and drove them down under $10. To be honest, it is only a matter of time before retail gives up on warrants (when they no longer "pop" on DA) and suddenly even the "premium" sponsors can't command a greater than $1 pre-DA warrant price.

Chamath likes to pretend he's the little guy's friend and a great deal maker. I think at this point though he's accepted the disappointment he has brought his retail followers.

I've sold off a big portion of my warrant holdings. When I see opportunity I'll sell my commons and take the 3-5% hit on those as well.

Mainly holding AVAN, ETAC, and CRHC at this point aside from the 2,000 IPOFW I've got.

I don’t think this happens. There’s a lot of negativity over spacs atm but some of the spacs over time will rid themselves of the spac “ stench” and will do well. Some of these spacs are great companies that are just dirt cheap atm. I think the spac Reddit is looking at too small a period of time to whine. A lot could change in a year.

The warrants will keep hitting 1+ because of the time that’s been added to the warrant imo. We have a lot of great sponsors left that I think are close to announcing. There are probably 10-15 that should be deals from elite sponsors. Regardless so many ipos that there is a dislocation. If you can find some good plays no question there are some 3-10x among the pile.

However I think Bwac is ****ed lol.

lmao absolutely. Up to over 6,000 BCYP warrants. I think I bought 4,000 of them at 61 cents or so.

Earnings have not been kind to De-SPAC'd companies. Just sold 8/20 $7.5C for $2.70 against half my PAYO position. Covered the remaining half with a mix of Nov $10 and $12.5 calls. Used the money to buy a few hundred PAYO warrants which will probably go up 2-3x faster than shares would assuming it goes up at all after earnings. I have a feeling after watching AVPT hit/beat earnings and tanking the next day PAYO will probably have a similar fate. I'm not even that worried about my SOFI CCs getting taken out at $17.5

Yea, earnings have not been kind. Only one I held through was Cano, which actually had a great earnings, also my only despac play at the moment. Small and mid cap are getting rocked. Some great pre da warrants prices at the moment.

I'd figure for something like this, even the government would be weary trying to issue more vaccines if the data shows that this antiviral can neutralize all variants effectively.

Edit: just lol @ IPOF warrants, $1.55...
Not sure why it’s so under the radar.. perhaps because it’s based out of bumfuk nowhere South Dakota? Literally every other company that even mentions having something relating to helping with covid goes to the moon fast as fuk. My primary concern though is that if their antibodies get approval and they are getting billions of dollars in contracts(2-3 billion maybe)- what is to stop them from saying JK deal is off we are worth significantly more than 300 million. That is my concern especially because I’m entirely in warrants I’d be fuked. That might be why- the deal isn’t done until it’s approved and merger is complete. The fact that commons are holding close to $10 seems positive though.

Lolz bcyp has super low volume it’s not that unusual. PTICW did that some days too. IPOF won’t find support till it’s closer to $1. This **** from MUDS and PSTH fuking warrant holders over is causing many to exit their warrant positions that no longer seem like risk free money. I’ve trimmed almost all my warrant positions except IPOF and BCYP. My IPOF calls expired today and Im definitely not buying any more of those.

Sentiment is so low right now. The combination of the ATIP and KPLT fraud basically with despacs going down hard and THEN MUDS losing their contract with MLB basically making them a shell of a company followed by PSTH dissolving- the perfect storm. IPOF is going down and either people are leaving warrants entirely or others left the warrants 1.3 and above and consolidated into warrants under a dollar.

Wish i had trimmed some of my warrant gains. I'm going to ride out my pre da warrants. I'll assess after they have announced deals, which I expect before EOY. The SEC needs to stop allowing new spacs and make it so that the sponsor will receive 0 founder shares if the spac doesn't go above $10 in 2-5 years. Incentives need to change.

Agreed. I think Mr. Gary Cohn might still do me a solid, but thankfully I sold almost everything else aside from my large and in-charge IPOF position.

There's still some huge money to be made on warrants although a lot of risk involved. Some of the spacs have varying prices they can call the warrants. Example Hims and now OACB and others, where if the stock is 10 they can call warrants for $2.5. So if you think shares can reach $10 you can make bank on the warrants. OACB warrants were trading 80-90 cents

Haven't been here for a while. How's everyone's bags? Luckily all my spacs were in my taxable account, so I'll be trimming to off-set the gains that weren't eaten up by all my bags haha. Been waiting for the comeback, but it just seems like there's nothing but bad news, and everything after merger seems to be dumping, crazy seeing some of the post-merger companies sinking so low.

In a ****load of pre da warrants and then 1 despac. Luckily i bought a new batch of warrants at the low in March. Wish I had trimmed but now Im going to wait for announcements. Still think there is better news around the corner. I think pipes will be larger starting in the fall. However, after announcements I'm most likely out of spacs for good. Hoping to make some gains and put them into index funds after or pre da shares as a defensive position.

I'm just working with what I'm still holding, probably won't open any new spac positions. Most of my last despacs are trading much lower than their ath, should have sold the news haha. I got used to everything soaring to crazy highs. Been too busy this summer to stay on top of things. My account has had some crazy swings the past few months, been good for selling covered calls.

Anyone still in BWAC? Heaney you still all in on IPOF?

Sold out of BWAC entirely.

I am pretty goddam horrified about BCYP voting/redemption concerns... LWAC just approved their merger and had 97% redemptions... they had 60M pipe that kinda saved the day so there are 65.9M in proceeds thanks to the pipe... Their float is no joke 525k shares until PIPE unlocks. Not sure what their original valuation was, but holy fuk they could legit moon with any sort of buy pressure. Warrants are $0.70 each currently which might represent very solid risk/reward given that possibility.

I'm sitting on 8,000 BCYP warrants right now with offers out there to get me to 10,000... Fuark. There is the potential they get their antibody approval before they get to the vote which would likely push commons well over $10 and thus secure a low redemption #.
