My undocumented Bradycardia just got me out of work and into A&E lol
Been at my job for 3 years now. Had a mandatory work “health screening today”, usually an annual thing. Last years was skipped due to Covid.
When I joined company I was a a little (lot) fatter and unhealthier than I am now. So my heart rate was actually pretty normal and fell inside the healthy/athletic category... even though I clearly was not.
I have always known my resting heart rate erred on the lower side. Especially when I am at a lower weight and being consistent with cardio. It has been mentioned in passing at a couple of doctors visits (Though I haven’t been for over 6 years now) and after a surgery years ago where my heart rate apparently went down to 28 bpm whilst I was under general anaesthetic.
I monitor my heart rate using my Garmin. My resting HR goes as low as 34 bpm when I am nice and relaxed and dips to about 30 when I am asleep.
So knowing I had my health screening coming up, I avoided caffeine today and I casually answered that in the screening that I have had moments of light-headedness and dizziness in the week (I haven’t)... they took my blood pressure/HR.... and literally called an ambulance!
Been laying in a bed in a hospital corridor for the last 4 hours with one of those blood pressure arm cuff things going off fukking constantly, still better than being at work though.
Hoping to get signed off work for a while so I can sort out moving house.

2:136
Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.
