you mean that all logic for not getting it is dumb, or that only the "actual" conspiracies for not getting it are dumb? i personally don't support any of the campaigning, advertising, pressuring and having to take a booster every 6 months(?) or you'll get locked out of basic stuff like gyms and bars

not disagreeing with you, but i mostly hear arguments about protecting other people. some fat phuck probably doesn't care about their health that much, but they can still activate the "do it for others (including normal weight people)" card without you being able to attack their own health situation

the choices are a little ambiguous

I am personally anti vax, I think the covid vaccine currently is extremely ineffective and its like saying just take creatine and you can eat whatever you want and grow muscle and lose fat

I dont have a problem with other people choosing to take the vaccine, im sure it has some benefit but its not a vaccine, its an immune booster for one specific strain of one specific virus.

So I don't know if that makes me anti vax or just STFU about the vax

but i also dont want people to be quiet about it because we need people standing up to these fukks and telling them to stop pushing this useless snakeoil on everyone who doesnt want it.

There's a lot of stupidity. For example:

A lot of powerlifters and bodybuilders that I know will load their ass up with everything under the sun (steroids, peptides, supplements, etc) and then make a totally hypocritical statement about not trusting the vaccine because of "health" or FDA approval

Again, I don't care why you're not getting it. You don't owe anyone an explanation either. If you're going to make up some inconsistent bullchit however, I'm calling you on it.

If it was a take it or don’t scenario we’d all move on. Sure there’d be small discussion but it wouldn’t be like it is today.

Notice no one discusses flu vaccines?

The difference is now people are being forced in some state’s, jobs, cities, etc. Literally forced to put something in their body.

It’s now fuking with people’s livelihoods - so now people dig in and have strong opinions one way or the other.

If you were being forced to do something you didn’t want to do which would now affect how you get paid, how you feed yourself children, how you are able to shop, what events you’ get to attend, I’m sure you’d have a gripe or two about it.

Vaccines have been mandated for public schools for as long as I can remember. Employers have mandated vaccines before too. There's plenty of precedent for it.

The difference is in the politicization of this issue

- I’ve been working all my life and never once been required to share medical status of anything.
- all other vaccines have been around for decades, are proven , and not rushed and pushed out in the middle of their previous pandemics.
- have you needed to show proof of your childhood vaxxes to go to the gym? To go on a flight? To go eat? To get into a store? Nope.

the difference is this is an mRNA vaccine which is an incomplete "vaccine" and should no longer be called a vaccine as it offers no immunity only possible protection against 1 straing of 1 virus.

Theres also mounting evidence now coming out that because its an incomplete virus all it is doing is creating a more powerful virus to work around the vaccine.

So their decision to rush the vaccine is leading us now into still having high infection rates(only lower because 1/3 of the world has had covid and recovered and has those antibodies) but an even more resistant virus.

So good job.

Would have been such a terrible thing to wait until we had a real vaccine like the ones you mentioned which actually offered immunity and stopped more severe variants from evolving.
