You don't need card stock. The CDC recommends you take a picture of your card and keep it on your phone. Put the original in a safe place.

Make sure you set printer to print "actual size".

Here is a spare card in case you lost your original.

i've already tried with plain paper, it looks very fake.

you need to do it on cardstock to look legitimate.
