I aware you brahs on a low-key GOAT Aussie crime drama

Mr Inbetween

It's about a fairly regular Aussie bloke who is a hitman. Only 3 seasons (show was concluded) and EPs are 24 min. Just binged all 3 seasons in a day.

- most realistic crime drama I've watched in terms of action sequences
- amazing cinematography, scenes are shot so well, action scenes feel gritty but completely believable
- funny af, main and supporting characters regularly bring the lolz
- no annoying women that drag the show down (e.g. Skyler in breaking bad)
- one of the best endings to a show I've seen
- his family problems are genuinely interesting and not boring af fillers like some other shows
- ameribrahs that love Aussie accents will LOVE this show, a lot of Aussie slang you hear irl (i live in Sydney where it's shot)
- gets better every season

This is coming from a brah who loved Gomorrah, ZeroZeroZero, Sopranos, The Wire etc.

Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Can confirm, it's a great show. Been trying to recommend it in every thread I see asking for shows to watch.

The scene where he meets his cellmate in episode 1 of this season had me dying loling.
I call it "Celebration". It's sexual, and violent...

Hahahaha yeah that scene was fukin hilarious.

At times the show made me feel like I was watching GTA cutscenes. I thought Gary, Dave and Freddy were funny af supporting characters. Even his talks with his daughter were funny af at times.

I'm the same, I didn't know about the show, my friend told me to watch it to see if it's good. Have been recommending it to everyone I can since. Didn't expect it to be so good.

Yup - all the characters have their lulzy moments and are endearing in some way. The show perfectly walks the line of being really funny but not so over the top ridiculous that you don't actually care about what happens.

The most impressive thing about it is the main actor is also the creator/writer and this is basically the only thing he's ever done other than a short film 15 years ago about the same character.

Lmao doesn't matter tho, knowing the ending doesn't affect the rest of the show. Even if you know the ending before watching the show you will still be amazed by it.

But yeah this is why I generally don't watch trailers or Google the show before watching it lol. The most epic episode of Game of Thrones (red wedding), was spoiled for me in a forum before that season started, made me fukin mad lmao.

Mind blowing, he's so good in the role too. At times I was genuinely wondering if he was an actual criminal turned actor lmao. Hope to see more from him.
