lmao, vaxcels on sudoku watch

Iceland's dr fauci equivalent has said that vaccine herd immunity is impossibleand that swedish dude was right - we should have never locked down and vaccines are making it worse and it'll never go away with the vaccines.

So what you’re saying OP is that half the new covid cases are coming from like the less than 1% that aren’t vaccinated?
Cause that doesn’t stand for what you’re trying to make it stand for. That’s the vaccine obviously working.

By your own post almost everyone is vaccinated in Iceland, yet half the hospitalizations (woooo grad we got that cleared up cause it changed so much …) are coming from the tiny % that isn’t.
And you think this is proof the vaccine doesn’t work?

“ Health authorities have sent a formal memorandum to the government expressing concern about the heavy strain on the healthcare system cause by the current record rate of infection.”
“Yesterday’s numbers have been updated on covid.is. Iceland reported 108 domestic cases (38 in quarantine) and 1 at the border. Total active cases are at a record 1,304.16 are in hospital.”
What kind of poverty ass healthcare system do you have when 16 covid hospitalizations cause a heavy strain?

Be Iceland.
Have 1 death for all of 2021
Have a total of 8900 cases. For the entire pandemic.
Have 30 total deaths. For the entire pandemic.
Have 87 deaths per million (vs Sweden at 1400 per mil)
But we shoulda went the swede route. Lol.

IMO, if we knew the vaccines were safe - I see no real problem with them, provided people who get infected who are vaccinated then gain immunity. At some point, we'll hit herd immunity and if less people suffer to get there, better.
The potential problems as I see it: vaccinations are not forcing mutations in anyway and if vaccinated people can gain natural immunity after infection. If they aren't causing mutations and people gain immunity, if they're safe, people should get it.
Until we know if they are safe, in the meantime, I would only get vaccinated if I were vulnerable or around those who were, if I did not have natural immunity.
I personally have natural immunity, don't need vaccination.

In really rough terms that means you have ~7% of the unvaccinated at-risk population constituting the other 55% of COVID deaths, an absolutely massive disparity

Even if the vaccine works 95% of the time I’m still far more likely to get covid now than when I was unvaccinated. I’m fairly cavalier about it really, because I assume if I do get anything it will be very mild.

Anyway, I'm against forcing the vax, but it seems clear to me that age and comorbitities play a role no matter the vax state. Young and healthy survive this chit if they're not vaxxed. Old, frail, unhealthy MIGHT survive this chit if they have a vax. Might not as well. Better chance with the vax tho.
There are additional layers as well tho. What about the fact that the pandemic was taking lives out before there was even a vax? It's not such an easy thing to compare numbers when different time periods had different circumstances. Honestly I'm surprised the vaxxed deaths is that high.

Weird how the cdc data isn’t close to the uk data, in regards to the vaccine
Israel has 7 vaxed deaths for every 3 unvaxxed but 90% of their population is vax’ed
So if 3 is the baseline, the vax’ed would see 27 deaths (3X9) but they are only seeing about 25% of that, showing the vaccine is working

Vaccines seem to do well with preventing severe death and hospitalizations but not with at least testing positive for the virus/getting it, which to be fair, is what the vaccine makers suggested initially.
IMO the old, fat, and sick should be getting vaccines and boosters regularly and the rest of us should just go on with our lives. This constant focus on the virus and especially cases now is clown world ****. Covid is here to stay, cases dont mean ****. prevent deaths in the susceptible and leave the rest of the population alone.
