Peterson once said that one should bring as much meaning to their life as possible, that way when things get really bad, you have something to live for. No one is so perfect that they never suffer or have perfect character during times of chaos. Peterson sacrificed his career standing up against compelled speech in Canada. His life was changed dramatically. Immediately following that, his wife developed cancer…all while he watches the world fall in to a sort of post modern psychosis and totalitarian state.

He hasn’t roped himself because he’s done great things, and some of those decisions have brought meaning to his life.
