original series star trek fans, if you have a favorite episode which

is ut.

I coulkd go with many space speed, shore leave, mirror mirror

but if i had to go with with just for its philosophical concepts when you watch it, depending on you who you you will appreciate it this episode,

from the start, the middle and finally the beautiful ending

it would be TERROR IN THE BALANCE

so many hidden messages, thoughts and belifes only a certain few would understand and appreicate.

if you have not watched this episode, i recomend it,

"balance of terror" is one of my favorites for sure. first run in with the romulans and it's all in space
the pilot is pretty good, i think my favorite is "city on the edge forever." it's touching and embodies what i think star trek was about

city on the edge of foreer is my top 5 too. terror in the balance, is an episode about honor and respect, even admiration for ones enemy, this is the TRUTH of things

I like that one where they visited that primitive planet and the natives thought Picard was some kind of god.

Also, Start Trek TNG had a lot of low key sexual tension.... Counselor Troy was a major hottie....

In Truth is There No Beauty...for the sound track alone. I think it's the only episode where the music tells the story more so than the action and the actors...

Marina Sirtis was hot back in the day, but looks so different now. I remember a really dark epsiode of TNG where it seemed to be a montage of nightmares. Looking back it seemed a bit much for what is a family show shown during early evening.
