Protein ice cream is a real cheat code

Made this recipe

15g cocoa powder
2 g Xanthan gum
15 - 20 g vanilla jello and honey OR any sweetener of your choice.
400 g Ice
25-50 g protein chocolate smooth (lower if it makes it taste too chemical)
Almond milk (used normal milk)

You need a good blender, taste almost like premade ice cream, fills you up like you wouldn't believe and really low on cals

Solid.

Regular ice cream is not too bad. I like froyo and actual yogurt about as much as ice cream.

Good idea, the base is ice, xantham gum and about 250 ml (cup) of milk, the rest can be filled to taste.

The xanthan gum is the hardest to find, but believe me, this recipe is worth it, I was actually surprised how good it is for the amount of cals / proteins it contains, you will go to sleep MORE than full on a cut.

Xanthan gum for sure is difficult. Only place I found it was at Target. Plus I don't have a strong enough blender at the moment to make it. Waiting for those Ninja's to go on sale.

Just lol if you are using xanthum gum.

Xanthum is for hot items.
Use Guar gum, add in salt as well.
Thank me later

Every time I tried to make protein ice cream it comes out foamy. This is also following recipes. Anyone have any tips for it not to be foamy?

You have to be very careful not to add to much liquid. Remember that you can always add more, but can't take away. Also, it has to be frozen fruit to have the desired effect.
