Has anyone else been feeling a lot of dark, nihilistic energy today?

it's weird because i don't remember world being like this before 2015 or so. Some might say 2012, but i really noticed the changes in very late 2014 and into 2015 and things haven't been the same since. It's like today's world is just completely different and operating a different set of rules and morals or something. It's hard to explain. It just doesn't feel like the world i grew up in at all. Sometimes i think maybe it's just smart phones, social media and globalization taking effect but it still doesn't explain how it happened so quickly. How we went from a world that i was so familiar with and liked, to this clown world that just doesn't make any sense. I can even look back at footage from pre 2015 and the nostalgia is very real, but i can't get that feeling for anything nowadays. I can't think of anything that is actually better now than 10+ years ago. Everything just feels idk......fake, sterile and unfamiliar now. I'll probably spend the rest of my life trying to find answers but idk what happened.

I don't think we were ever meant to be so casually connected to so many people at once. We wen't from being able to contact countless people when we sat down at a computer, but it was over once you got up. Phones eliminated that. We've been sitting at a computer ever since smart phones took off.

Couple years ago I had no phone service. Could only go online or call when I was on wifi. It was very peaceful. There's something unnatural about always being plugged in.
I'm back, bitches!

Go out in nature for a day with no cell phone service and it's crazy how quickly our mind just naturally forgets all the anxiety caused from the constant connections.

At least that's how it is for me when I go fishing out in the middle of nowhere.
