Brah, I put ~12% of my portfolio into all the ARK funds RIGHT at their peak in January/February... I'm still down like 20% on ARKG, and I sold like half my ARK funds and wrote them off as losses... feelsbadman

I own quite a bit of ARKK and their other funds, around 10% of portfolio. We're still in a very short time horizon. Not only am I holding, but I bought more in the dip. Their buys make a lot of sense to me in disruptive and innovative companies. We're in a weird time right now where companies that were expected to take off, haven't necessarily done that. Unless I have a great insight to something else to buy, I'll be holding. My other buys in the meantime, like NVDA and AMC have more than made up for the losses here. ARKF is green for me, but most of my faith is in ARKK. Some positive news was generated for ARKG's companies, a couple more positive outlook stories could emerge for genome companies and it should turn the tide, imo.

While I'm definitely on the conservative side it was more of a response to governments in general.

As you said it seemingly makes no difference what party is in power at any point of time. Governments are terrible capital allocators and most decisions are rooted in emotion and not logic. Yay politics.

Are you super dumb or just special dumb? The establishment of government goes hand in hand with the establishment of property rights and as a result the allocation of capital. Government may be inefficient as viewed by the taxpayer, but that’s because they’re efficiently fleecing you, lol.
