Not Getting moderna vaccine on Tuesday. Reasons inside

Covid mortality and severe illness is overblown
Covid deaths (delta variant) are roughly 1/10th of the other variant, which was already low
Moderna vaccine is 30%+ ineffective against the virus
Yes, I can still get covid with the vaccine
Yes, I can still transmit the virus

If it only helps by 30-40% and my personal threat is near zero, I think it's wise to avoid doing this for humanity based on the facts.

Agreed OP. Don't be a silent spreader. If I get sick I wana know so I can stay home and not spread it. Imagine getting the vaccine, getting sick and spreading **** around because you thought it was allergies or some ****.
