bro - we already had a DE&I training.... it's coming. My biggest fluff is their quick replacement of Equality with Equity.
Equality - everyone gets the same amount of resources.
Equity - some get more resources than others because they need more and want the same OUTCOME.

So it basically is replacing equal opportunity with equal outcome.

I asked the trainer... what if everyone doesn't want the same outcome? What if I have members on my team who do not want to get promoted and want to stay at their level? Because the further up you move, the more responsibilities and commitments, expectations, etc. go up. Some people don't want that and it seems we are forcing and deciding what people want, is that what this is about?

like wtf...... i get that some people have pronoun issues/concerns, but those people are so minute and small in regular population do we really need to change how the 99% speak/conduct for such a small percentage?
