I don't wear any camo that isn't like that Mossy Oak stuff people use for hunting. And I barely wear that outside of promotional gear from our company. Never wear anything that even remotely resembles military or tacticool gear. I'm pretty adamant about not beingthatguy, if you know what I mean

It doesn’t bother the people close to me who are in/have been in the military. I guess it may depend on the individual though.

I have a pair of camo work-out leggings.

With where you live mossy oak camo works better than the digital stuff anyway. The reason the army went with digital is because it's kind of a catch all and works in the mountains, urban and woods. If you're just gonna be in the southeastern woods both mossy oak breakup and multicam work way better than the digital stuff.

I like realtree. I still have a longsleeve original realtree pattern shirt I wear turkey hunting sometimes. It blends great if you have a lot of oaks around. Mossy Oak breakup is still the gold standard here though. It blends so well.

I have some multicam and DCU pants I’ll wear to do manual labor in the fall/early spring. Used to wear them when I was a LARPing airsofter. Very comfortable and durable. Not very fashionable though.

Wearing an actual uniform or one intentionally meant to imitate it for fashion or attention is different. I would take issue if a celebrity tried to wear a uniform top with a Nirvana t-shirt and sew some political patches on it... people die in that uniform. Or those incels that try to do the whole stolen valor thing.

This is simply appropriating the pattern... who cares. A pattern that isn't exactly trademarked. It's functional and, therefore, I wouldn't even fault a bunch of paintballers for buying some surplus uniforms for matches. So long as, again, they aren't sewing on ranks and crap and then trying to tell war stories... to me that disrespects the honor of the men and women that have actually died being who you are pretending to be.

I think where you draw the line is when adult males are wearing Army shirts but never served in the army

good points in here. I really doubt anyone would take a look at me and think I have anything to do with the military. Although I did want to join. I have dead parasites in my eyes however, so I wasn't eligible. Plus, I already was traumatized by the hippies who raised me so I pretty much have to make low stress lifestyle choices from here on out to keep my **** together. I wouldn't be able to hack military training.
I'm kind of hoping to show some fealty to some of those hot rotc type fellas. The system saved my life - I was a ward of the state for a while. I was super patriotic, but lately I feel pretty broken hearted because people seemed to have evidence that Trump raped a bunch of little tiny kids. I voted for him twice and now it seems he's just another hippie. I don't know what to think.
