Only time we don’t climb is lightning

I’ve got more sketchy stories than I can count.

100kmph winds, -40 with high winds on an ice covered tower, blizzards, heavy rain

Had to fix towers deemed unsafe to climb

You name it

got my hands sweating just by looking at the height.

always been terrified by this.

I'm not sure if it's normal not to be afraid, it's a serious life threatening situation after all.

it's normal when you do it for a living and spend more time up there than on the ground

Can you go through the steps of how the training/apprenticeship for the job was? The work itself and the climbing/safety stuff? Thanks man.
