Investing in alternate L1's and L2's is literally the equivalent of throwing a dart at the telecom sector in the year 2000. People who have been around long enough remember what happened to NEO,EOS,OMG,Raiden. Some of these tokens are still around but they are just getting the zombie pump treatment. Some people have been holding onto those tokens for 4 years and are just now breaking even. They are just now into profit in the middle of a bull market. Those are just the ones who didnt cut their losses either. Imagine holding that chit for 4 years and theres never a single notable development. Hepatitis sounds more appealing.

i need to dig into the cardano platform. not necessarily ADA itself because over time i have found that im going to monster gains, so of course my risk profile has changed

i have to believe that there is going to be explosions that happen for some tokens on that platform. somebody mentioned "cardstarter" the other day, so im going to look into that. i know absolutely nothing about it.
then in terms of defi, of course i'll be glued to the screen to figure out what they have going on in that area

Whatever platform becomes the winner for NFTs is going to be one of the giants of cryptos, like the Amazon of e-commerce.

That being said I have very little knowledge about NFTs and am only assuming there needs to be a third party besides the Ethereum blockchain for NFTs to 'work'. Or at the very least a platform to simplify the process of NFTing your asset.

I minted a few NFTs and starting to accumulate them on OpenSea.io, had to pay gas fees one time and can mint as many as I want now. They are my son's drawings and won't link them here but figured it is a worthwhile effort to build him some side savings.

What confuses me more, however, is Unstoppable Domains. Works in a similar manner but the company is sht and the little page I tried to make never took, despite paying gas fees. I own a .crypto domain that I hopefully can at least have redirect in the future.

I would imagine having an NFT of a future celeb/athlete/politician/notorious persons would be an amazing haul.

For example if your son goes on to become a famous singer 20 years down the line, and someone has his painting from now, pretty good ROI.

I'm assuming this is the theory behind this sort of NFT.
