Square bread, round meat slice. Solution.
I dunno if this is common or not but I thought of it myself. If you just whack a round meat slice on the bread it leaves the corners empty. One slice is very thin too so you probably want more. This uses 2 and fills out the whole surface.

It's pretty close to the edges. Larger diameter meat would be needed to totally reach the edge.
