I am a Republican and support Trump, something I intent to carry with me when I move to a red state. On the other hand, I do hear you, especially with Californians.
One thing I think Red States can do to stop blue state leeches from ruining your states with their nonsense politics is:
1. Make it tougher to gain residency and hence vote in your state.
2. Make tech companies or any moving to your state from blue states hire locally so your locals are getting those jobs.
3. Make life less convenient for those that move to your state by having them pay almost the same taxes and be subject to the same economic policies for a couple of years before they can really gain the tax benefits of your state. No income tax Florida? You have to have been a resident for a couple of years to access that.
I swear then it will weed out the ones who genuinely like your state for the politics from these leeches moving there because they could not cut it in their own home state.
I for sure am leaving NYC solely due to the vaccine proofs and how incompetent our leadership is in the city.

Radical liberalism is such a cancer, I want these follower clowns to suffer from a poor economy and lack of access to opportunity. Then I want based states like Texas and Florida to make it so tough for them to get the benefits of being in that state so they don't run off and ruin the culture of good states with their nonsense liberal politics and voting the way they do.

The best bet is to wait it out, wait until Adams gets into office, and hope he is very moderate.
All of this is really a power-grab by De Bolshevik to try and appease the far left and compensate for his awful leadership during the pandemic.

It is not really the regulars and customers who will be the issue for businesses, it will finding workers.Businesses are hanging by a thread over there, and you pull this ****?
So many workers in the city who work in restaurants are often Latinos and immigrants. Some might not want to get the vaccine due to their own beliefs and this gives businesses already at a labor shortage much less of a pool to choose from. The most qualified restaurant workers will work for high-end places while your typical dive bars and local ma and pa shops are going to be hurting for labor.
Then again, who cares anymore. The morally self-righteous yuppies of the city who have no idea on how to run a business are going to preach the goody two shoe nonsense.
The only hope is to hold on to dear life, hope Adams gets in and is more moderate, and then see what happens. All of this has nothing to do with the safety of people, it is a power grab by a mayor with a failed legacy trying to appease the far left.

They should make people wear arm bands that signify vaccinations when in public.

Simple disproportionate impact would allow anyone to cry racism about virtually any law for their own political purposes. As you are attempting to do in this post.

"Hello papers, papers please"
Then they deny you entry into places
Then you cannot get a house or get a job
Then they slowly start to exterminate you
