If the vaccine…

If the vaccine doesn’t stop someone from catching or spreading covid but reduces the severity of symptoms…

Why does it matter to anyone else if I’ve had it or not? Srs

Because if you get sick you’ll take a hospital bed from someone else

And no, you won’t refuse care if you need to be ventilated

Why should other sick people get priority over covid patients?

Maybe they shouldn't have gotten sick so unvaccinated people would be able to enjoy the hospital facilities

Most of the people who get that sick seem to be obese and are at risk of other complications that will land them in the hospital, taking up that same bed.

because you have an extremely easy option to simply vaccinate and avoid severe symptoms, whereas other sick patients dont have such simple choice and have to get hospitalized

You don't know that. It could be a wrong-way drunk driver in the ICU

Or a long-time smoker with cancer

Or a self-inflicted gunshot wound

Or a lifetime fast food consumer with severe diabetes

Or a one-time bleach consumer

It's easy not to be fat, not to smoke, not to drink, not to play contact sports, etc. that could eventually land you in the hospital. Why are people who don't want to take a rushed vaccine the ones being singled out?

but other sick people have an extremely easy option to not eat cheeseburgers everyday since heart and cardiovascular diseases kill more than anything else.

The OP was about vaccination

Where did I advocate shutting down the economy?

Ya my point is vaxcels like you were given this new "taking up hospital beds" talking point soon as vaccines were proven ineffective at preventing getting and spreading covid.

Obese people were always taking up hospital beds.

It's possible to get and transmit covid after being vaccinated, but much less likely.

Didn't say that was the objective the vaccine. That's how it was sold to vaxcels though. Soon as it was impossible to ignore the amount of people getting and spreading covid despite being vaccinated the talking point had to be pivoted to the one you're currently on.

If you (are told to) care about lack of hospital beds then you should be mad at obesity which is why a mild sickness is sending these people to the hospital. Healthy unvaxxed people aren't taking up hospital beds. Obese people have all kinds of complications that make them need to be hospitalized.

Dunno what this has to do with Fox News, I don't watch mainstream news to get the newest talking points. Sorry that you can't relate.

Exactly, all that COVID gov money flowing into hospitals last year could have been used to expand ICU and regular beds and hire more nurses. Instead, I'm sure the hospital admin pocketed all that money and now they are threatening to fire nurses who don't want the vax while the hospitals are facing staff shortages. Such bull****.
