Yes, but they could do easy tasks like demolition, carrying heavy loads and holding up things like drywall without an issue. And they can work 24/7. Imagine a crew of three of them demoing a building - it would be done ten times as fast easily and you don't have to pay them.

I'm willing to bet any crew within ten years will have at least one to do these heavy tasks so that the workers doing the fine stuff don't strain themselves.

If I were going to get into a profession thinking forward five years, it would be robotic engineering or repair.

Elon slacking. Dudes starts up like 50 projects and never finishes them. I think his whole ploy is to create hype for fake projects and only focus on his cars. The car is the only project he's been successful in to my knowledge. The hyperloop, the semi trucks that were suppose to transform the shipping industry, the solar panel roofing shingles, there's more I just can't remember that the project just stalled out.

specs I saw listed a max lift of 45 pounds and a deadlift of 125. Don't think too make tradies will be put out of work for that.

Companies nowadays have 45-50lb lifting limits as part of their health & safety programs, so that's honestly probably alright although we can argue how much of that is shedding liability in case of incidents and how many people actually follow it

At my last company, you technically weren't even supposed to lift a water cooler jug by yourself
