As of August 13th, Canada had administered 51,241,615 doses with 173 deaths reported. At least 69 of those deaths are unlikely linked to a COVID-19 vaccine, but even 173 deaths is 0.0003%

Similar to COVID, adverse vaccination events are most common in the 80+ age group. I can't specifically find vaccination death numbers by age, but it's probably safe to assume

Let's not forget you can still get covid even after taking the Vax as well. Even if it's less ikely and tends to be less severe, you have to add in that risk to the vax side of things as well.



But to answer OP's question, I think covid has more risk. Despite the idiotic logic of most miscers the risks for the vax are almost not there. That said I don't plan on getting the vaccine. The risks of both of these are so god damn low it's not even worth my time. There's greater risk getting your car and driving to the pharmacy and back from the pharmacy than there is from either covid or the vax combined.

So if you want to take the less risky choice, assuming you are healthy, opt to have one less car trip this year. That's how crazy all of this is.

I know 2 older people that have gotten sick from the vaccine, pretty sick too.
I still do not know personally 1 person that has gotten sick from COVID. 2 of my sisters got it and barely had symptoms.
