I don't trust the government let alone a multi billion dollar pharmaseutical industry, both of these groups just want my money

they doign this in BC already brah? fuark thats rough. Right now its like half occupancy rate at my gym, masks while "walking around" but off when lifting/cardio.

I go at 5am to avoid any bs, because when it gets busy the mask stasi come out in full force.

Is it possible for you to not get the vaccine but lift with a mask on? I don't know how it is for you Canada brahs, but in a lot of U.S. gyms there is a sort of unenforced policy that if you are not vaccinated you just have to lift with a mask on. Obviously that is not ideal, but again I don't know what compromises are available to y'all.

my condo has a gym too but it's not what I want, maybe just use it to hold me over til they get rid of this chit policy

I am a member of two gyms
One is a chain gym with local ownership but they are based (think 24 hr corp gym)
They called all the regulars and let up know the doors will always open with the key card and mask signs on doors but never enforced
(This was when the state forced gyms to "close")

Gym number two is a power lifting type gym and they will never ask vaxx status

(I live in a commie state)

I don't understand people who say they are serious about lifting but haven't invested in a home gym

Power rack, barbell, plates, bench. Maybe a pull-up bar. A few db's if you want. Done, now you can lift whenever you want with zero restrictions

Bands work okay. Properly controlled eccentrics and an isometric squeeze at the top of every rep and I feel pretty good after a workout.
Maybe do resistance bands and park pullups for now

I know it's just anecdote, but I've talked with many people and they don't want or are against this chit, vaxxed or not. a lot of my family are against this chit. the barber I go is against and said there is no way he would enforce this if it came down to it. gymbros who I talk to sometimes are against it. a gym owner i know is also against it and said he would not enforce this on willing customers after being shut down throughout most of these 18 months. He only got by because of generous people willing to pay the monthly fees despite being locked down. also I think gym bros are less likely to have had the vaccine and probably feel more strongly about it being a choice so they would lose customers.

This is why I lol @ poll and surveys that say chit like "70% of Canadians are for vaccine passports". Like first of all, when does 1500 people represent all canadians and second of all who the phuck are you surveying? Some reddit/twitter phucktards?

Might be worth it to hold the line OP even for a few months and see what happens. Or lose all your gains for nothing, idk. International travel and large events is one thing but employees, customers, fitness centres, small businesses is a lot more controversial and I'd imagine there'd be a lot of push back. If any business wants to enforce these, then phuck em.

My countries vaxx card has a qr code on. Cant fake that. Can only rely on whoevers gonna check the card wont check the link on the qr.

I have made an american vaccine card, german vax card and a turkish vax card.

So far only used the american one since other two has qr codes on which would show the original owners of the cards that I copied from.

You just need adobe paid version (has a 7 day free trial, just cancel on 6th day) and a special printer (most printing offices have that)

You can easily fake a QR code-- it's just a link to some other resource, a website, a text file, whatever. Find out what the QR links to by scanning a real one and make a fake version of whatever it links you to.
