That criteria specifically because those with HIV and then have a vaccine are far more likely to have died from HIV itself leading to inaccurate data. With that said, I was able to find zero evidence that early HIV vaccines killed HIV positive patients, but as I said, as they had HIV anyway its impossible to say it was the vaccines fault
