Is it possible for a liberal to be redeemed? srs

Can the truth convert these non-believers of truth into believers? it's ignorance which fuels their beliefs and faith afterall.


Or is it impossible for a lib to be redeemed?

So much mental gymnastics occur in the average liberal's brain, it sometimes strikes me as impossible to unravel it all.

Yes, in fact a high proportion of people who are liberals when they are young (high school, college etc.) quickly become conservative once they start to figure out how the world works and get a bit more experience/intelligence.

Once you start actually contributing as a useful member of society you tend to become more sensible/conservative

Know of a few older die hard democrats who ended up voting Trump this last election. They finally saw what their beloved party was really about and became big time Trump supporters.

I have seen quite a few democrats my age starting to question the media. I make the same arguments on certain topics as I did before the election which would have gotten me snide remarks that are now being met with genuine open minded interest.

Nothing wrong with being Democrat btw. It's these new aged liberals/leftists who are problematic. They want to mold society after their feelings which are based on the mainstream narrative.

Fair point. Most people do start off more liberal but then become more conservative as they get older and contribute to society.

The problem is that less and less kids seem to be growing up and becoming contributing members of society. As Jordan Peterson says, growing up and being useful is the new counterculture. That's definitely true in my area.

My generation grew up with things handed to them. No one wants to work anymore really.
