Credit card debt? Gamble your way out of it. Bet on the pga and european tour every week and you'll be debt free in no time.

Living off your credit card? Well you should have money saved up is all I know to say about that.

In Mexico they cant collect debt from credit cards, u can pretty much rack up the debt, and tell them to fuk off

Worse thing that can happen is that they ban you at the bureaus

This is the benefit of having good credit that you can use it to get by during hard times. Doesn't mean it's free, or the best, but it's there.

Yes I believe so. In all honesty this is probably my best bet. I think the company should understand also since they delayed my start date from the initial date they gave me. They knew I'm in a different location currently

It just suks seeing credit card debt pile up, meanwhile I still have to figure out where to relocate And get moved in etc when I haven't even started yet

I should've planned better probably

I have to figure out how to relocate with basically no money, debt piling up. I might extend my lease where I'm at then save up working remote

Its a lot of chit to figure out. I have no idea where to live. It would also suck if the company rescinds my offer. It's a contract job

Just keep using the cards. If you have to you can probably take out a small loan to cover your expenses

In the meantime, cut your expenses as hard as you can. No streaming services, no eating out, buckle down

Once the money starts coming in, start paying off your debt

It's tough but you'll be ok

Thanks

Cutting expenses is the hard part. I like to eat good food. I can only fast for so long

If Worse comes to worse family can bail me out. I just don't want it to come to that

I have like one more week atleast of living off my credit cards

I’d get a small loan from a bank instead. Credit cards will rape you

relocating it seems you can put off for a little while (remote) and explain your situation to the boss. set up direct deposit with HR/Payroll.

save up for first/last months rent and security deposit. look for a place that will give first months rent free on a 12mo lease.
I think they pay weekly which is one benefit of contract work, so it might only be 2 weeks from now for my first check. Just sent in background check yesterday, waiting for that to clear.

The city I'm relocating to is hot right now in real estate. I saw some prime condo On the water get posted and taken in less than a weekBut yeah hopefully I can get a deal somewhere

Until then, just bought a pack of smokes to continue rotting by with

You'll need to ration as much as possible.

The most important thing is to keep your credit score in good condition.

Well, for one, you live off the credit. You pay the debt.

Wouldn't expect someone who can't pay their bills to know the difference though.

Live within your means once you start the new gig and pay off your debts.

You are in debt to live and then posting about a prime condo 🤦‍♂️

No it does not. But using too much credit does cause your credit score to go down.

If you're disciplined apply for another CC (or several) that has a zero % APR for a time period and make balance transfers to avoid any interest fees from your current cards. This will also increase the ceiling of your Utilization Rate giving you more room to use the CC.

What is your credit rating?

I have 8 CCs and a 840+ credit rating.
Thanks brah, might look into opening some new cards then. My current ones were my first cards and have high interest rates.

My current rating is like 750

I've always been on top of making full payments in time until this last month where I made minimum payments for the first time ever

That's only temporary. Once you pay them down and your utilization drops your score will go back to where it was before

The prime condo was within my means, it was amazingly cheap for the location. That's why it got snatched off the market before I could even apply. I could've afforded it for sure

Nice. Will apply for a card soon

I think I might survive this temporary debt then
