COD Vanguard Alpha
Just got the email it's ready to go. I have an unfortunately busy weekend but will find time to give this a try. The Gun Fight Alpha from MW2019 is what got me interested in the game as I had been sour on COD for awhile.
So far I am hearing both positives and negatives. Post your thoughts.

Tried it, and here's my thought process;
The footsteps are a pretty low volume which is really nice.
Certain guns are more OP than others, the M1928 was pretty nice when upgraded.
The upgrade system mid battle is really cool actually.
However, not a fan of the map layout or kill streaks as they automatically get called in.
Skipping this, just not a fan.

Visibility is ass. Feel like I am shooting at nameplates. I assume they will fix this.
Maps are meh. That one with all the destructable walls is complete AIDs and the spawns on it are terrible. They need to take that out of the game.
I like the Champion Hill game mode more than I thought but do wish there were less purchasable upgrade stuff. Let the outcomes be more decided by gameplay. Not a fan of all the supplies, perks, upgrades etc for a game mode like this. But I do like the mode and how it leaned more towards survival than killing and the matchup system.
WW2 is what it is. Sure it'll make for a tremendous campaign but I don't think these old wars ever have lent themselves well to multiplayer and overall I'll probably actually go back to playing MW19 before this Alpha is over.
Probably a pass for me aside from grabbing for the SP when on sales unless my feelings change throughout the alphas and betas. But I just prefer more about MW19 to this when it comes to MP.

Well seems like they already have fixes in the works for all the complaints. I'd like to see another Alpha when those issues are addressed. But, I am really interested to see how the MP is in game modes outside of Champion Hill as well.

MW19 and Warzone brought me back to COD. Didn't even touch Cold War after playing Beta and it felt like a downgrade shooting wise to MW19.
Now that they've gone back to WW2 I'm gonna sit this one out. Nothing is more boring and played out than WW2 MP.
Does Warzone remain modern or they gonna bring that back to WW2 as well? If so I'm done with COD altogether.

I downloaded it a couple of days before the demo days but then my system claimed that it couldn't start up because it needed "X amount of gbs to run application".
Couldn't delete anything so I just deleted the demo and it's take too long to download again.
Imagine waiting hours for a videogame to download in 2021!

Love it. No matter how much hate cod gets, you always go back to what brought you to FPS gaming in the first place. For me its mortal Kombat. Not FPS but same thing with any genre. I want to say it was Medal of Honor for me as far as FPS genre. I have mang feels thinking back to it. Burnout for racing. NBA street for sports.
