AMZN popping off today thank god, need more days like this... still can't fathom how CHEAP AMZN is right now

Good month for cloud in general. GOOG and MSFT up 7%, CRM up 10%, AMZN finally making moves upwards... need these ~25% CAGR companies to grow into their multiples (srs)

I have my profits still in bbig. Up almost 6% in AH. But could drop back to $5 at any time.

Yeah, I increased my position size in crsr today. Because I like the stock and it has some squeeze potential also maybe. $1-$2 downside for me in the new position from today.

Anyone ever successfully make money on a straddle? I’ve paper traded a few and seems tough to profit

Combination of cheap premium, i.e. low IV at time of purchase and big movement makes it profitable. Earnings and events mostly price in volatility so those can be hard to profit. Understanding of technicals and support and resistance would give you an edge.

IMO opportunities exist more frequently when you short a straddle with shares you dont mind losing or buying more, i.e. long term hold candidates that are in consolidation plus higher historical IV. However, I would probably choose a strangle over a straddle and collect less premium if I was less confident that price action would remain stagnant.

Is it BABA that gaps up 4% or is it the shell corporation?
