you realise there's legitimate use of Ivermectin in hospitals across the world, showign success when it comes to treating Covid right?

yeah he went all in, likely with private Doctor supervision (think about it..he's hella rich, ofc he has some high up doctor on speed dial)

and no im not implying people should buy the damn animal formulated Ivermectin from pet stores.
But this attempt to just fully linchpin it as purely a 'dewormer' (thats partly politically fuelled in the states), is laughable

I've been ashamed of our media. I've had to get most of my covid data from outside sources - UK has been pretty honest with most of their data.

MERCK is the primary manufacturer for ivermectin and they received 1.2 billion dollars to develop a new drug, molnuvapir, which will cost 1k a dose. They want a EUA and can't get it if ivermectin is shown to work roughly as well.

What people need to understand is that doctors basically aren't even treating people with this disease until they get to the hospital. That's not the majority of people. In fact, that's a small minority. Any doctor who has been on the "front lines" has been dealing with people whose COVID has progressed from just the virus in the early stages causing coughs and sniffles... they've been dealing with people who have cytokine storms, etc. They have no idea whether Ivermectin works early on or not.

If you're young and healthy and you get COVID symptoms, your family doctor is just going to give you standard flu advice - bed rest, fluids, etc. He's not going to prescribe any medicine because the CDC guidelines don't call for that. You'd have to insist and then maybe you might get a prescription. I don't see how any doctor who hasn't been prescribing Ivermectin can have an informed opinion about it.

Zpak does nothing directly against a virus. It's given because a lot of people with Covid develop pneumonia. Matter of fact, half the people that have died with Covid also had developed a pneumonia (bacterial) infection, so pneumonia is the ultimate killer for MANY Covid patients. Pneumonia is far far deadlier than Covid is by itself.

Unfortunately hospitals are a perfect place to catch an illness like pneumonia. Furthermore, a ton (likely 30-40%) of patients hospitalized with Covid only developed Covid after being in the hospital for unrelated reasons. The figures are rather disingenuous, like almost every aspect of this pandemic.

MERCK also has thousands of lawsuits against them from men who took their propecia and ended up with prolonged side effects.

Both India and Japan disagree. At the very least Ivermectin is a good anti-inflammatory. Can we say with 100% certainty Ivermectin is more effective than say corticosteroids? No. But it seems very likely.
