Wendy's NEW FRIES review

For those unaware, Wendy's announced they're changing their fries to stay hot and crispy longer to hold up to the popularity of delivery services like Door dash.

First review sounds good.

Cliffs: the pound for pound best fast food chain just got better. The new fries taste like McDonald's fries.

Love their breakfast potato wedgefries, they shoulda just gone to serving them all day but anything will be an improvement over the soggy cold flop fries they've been selling for the past decade

Gotta agree on this. I also find it fascinating how the fast food chain with the worst reputation (Mcdonalds) has always had the best friest imo.

Been eating McDonald's lately sometimes because our kids our little enough they like happy meals. Food is usually bad but hot dang those fries.

I don't eat fast food often, but McD's has a bad rap. It's no more chit than any other place, meanwhile it's consistent, fast and cheap. No drive thru moves at the pace of McDonalds. I grab a coffee there most days, it's always quick in and out.

I haven't eaten fast food in like 5 years now, except for like the maybe once a month Taco Bell. I know McDonalds always had the best fries, and Wendy's had the promise, but always got kinda flimsy really quick.

Also now, you could throw them in the air fryer when you get home and it would probably be goated.

Wendys used to be good waaay back in the day but suck since they changed everything
Lifts:

Had them nothing special. I honestly think Burger King has the best fries. Burger King had the best fries during the mr. Potato head promo in the late 90’s

The fries they had before the current ones were really good and almost McD's level. The ones they have now are just soggy, sloppy and nasty unless they came out of the fryer less than 1 minute ago. Glad they decided to fix the situation

I went to McD's for the first time in years a couple of months ago. Got a Big Mac. Those patties were almost half the size they used to be...

I shouldn't knock just McD's for that, because I have noticed similar things at other places. **** is getting ridiculous...

Posted a thread a few weeks ago as a joke that i tried burgerfi and walked out with a $15 bill. I thought to myself afterward i could have gone to the wendys in the same area and gotten a larger amount of comparable quality food for half the price

BurgerFi is supremely good but yeah you're gonna pay for it.

Get the fries "Urban Style" they have a truffle aioli that's crazy good. I've gone there a few times after a huge workout and it hit the spot.
