We've seen a few micro-bubbles (SPACcels, chitcoins, EV) but overall the market shrugs it off and keeps chugging.

It's pretty fascinating tbh.
But, when the ultimately bubble bursts, investors quickly turn to panic selling, sometimes selling their assets for less than they're worth based on fundamentals. The panic that follows a bubble can spread to other asset classes, and can even cause a recession.

Wait, I thought S&P crashed about ~50% in 2008? AND came back in 2-3 years and went higher than ever before? Not sure thou.

And wouldn’t the money printing prop up the market rather than crash it?

Anyway, put stop losses on everything you own, and have some crypto and gold/silver just in case.

I wouldn't exactly follow her or take her advice. But that's pretty extraordinary brah. How many females do you know that can turn 500 into 80k during any kind of market? The average female turns $500 into -8k in debt.

stop loss will most likely not trigger if we see a big crash like that, atleast thats what I keep hearing

One of the most detrimental thing that happened to me was winning big early.

pretty much this, she got lucky and now she thinks she knows stocks. 1 year gains is not impressive, earn 20-25% in a 10 year time span is impressive because you will be battled tested during down years and high years, everyone can do good during a up year

I guess the silver lining will be the next correction and avg investors will finally understand the fukery the fed and govt do during that time period.
