Isn’t there a controversy of some sort every time that event is played? Not sure the yanks are always at fault (although clearly are here).

Not sure what’s worse, admitting to watching women’s golf, or making a thread about women’s golf on a dying gay Indian bodybuilding forum.

Seems rather odd, in Cricket most teams don't like the opposition batsmen touching the ball.

Okay, so what is the actual controversy? If the red team had lost by a stroke then maybe, but even with the missed putt they still won.

What a stupid post.

You derive from perhaps the most un-athletic developed country in the world. I can't think of a single British athlete in any major sports league... NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB... even the best golfers are American. And the UK was getting skull-fkd so hard in the Ryder Cup that they decided it was Country versus Continent now. Even all of the British football clubs are filled with players from other countries. Pathetic chit hole country.

Who cares if you win during team play for a solo sport. Best golfers of all time. American. Sucks you can’t even win at your own sport.

Euro trash should be thankful to God every day that Americans don’t give a fuk about soccer, otherwise you’d all probably rope.

England are the ONLY country that have won the football, rugby and cricket world cups. The three most popular truly global team sports.

America sucks at all of them, always have, always will, so invents its own sports that they can suck at by themselves

go pay your taxes to the queen u british cuck

we do not care about any of the three. The highest paid cricket player made 2M in 2021 LMAO. That's like chit tier bullpen guy in the MLB. What do Rugby players make... I don't care enough to check but I can imagine it's no where near 9 figures. If there was any talent on that chit hole island of yours it would've found its way to any of the multi-billion dollar sport organizations like the rest of the talented Europeans have. I remember when some Aussie star thought he could hack it... I don't think he even ever made a team, and if he did he was a back-up punt returner.

edit: Highest paid Rugby player makes 1 million pounds. Rugby is a giant joke and the athletes in the NFL absolutely MOGGGGGG them.

Why would they make it in your sports? Who cares how much they earn? They are all vastly overpaid. Dhoni was on the Forbes list high up years back. Kohli is worth 150 odd million-so it really is irrelevant how much he earns as he can never spend anywhere close to it in hundreds of years.

Lots of Europeans have made it in basketball and hockey, absolutely none that are British. "Vastly overpaid"... actually, false. Capitalism determines how much they are paid, simple supply and demand. The UK gets mogged in a sport they invented... golf. Actually if it were never for American golfers like Nicklaus and Woods, it's still likely that golf is like rugby and cricket... irrelevant. Who cares how much they earn...? I'm sure they do. They are inferior athletes and if they weren't, they would come to America and make 10-50x what they make there... right? Why boat about World Cups in sports that America isn't invested in?

My God you Brits are fukking RETARDED.

I have no idea why, but I just watched the video.

What does that have to do with sportsmanship?

It looks like one player inadvertently broke a rule (picked up the ball before the allotted 10 seconds) and the referee called the penalty.

Blame the rule, not the competitor or the referee who called the foul.

By the way, I don't know anything about golf, but that's my interpretation of what happened based on the way it's presented in the video.

Basketball & Ice Hockey are nothing sports in the UK-we don't care if our mediocrities have to go over there to become good at inferior sports. Cricket is more relevant worldwide than any US sport-come back when a billion people are watching a baseball or football match like an India vs Pakistan match.

Redcoats are still shook that we weren't playing by the rules when we whooped their asses a couple hundred years ago. Now they're mad that we are playing by the rules?

Come on mate, get in formation and be cannon fodder. Those are the rules mate.

You are our bootlicker, not the other way around. More like an obedient lap dog, one that fits in a purse... that yaps but nobody is really afraid of... but it goes exactly where we tell it to... and we have thousands of military in your country because we wanted to. You have none here.

The athletes will go where the money is. Billions of people may watch cricket, but America's top athletes aren't going to play a sport that pays ~10x-20x less than what they make playing an American sport.

India has the 2nd largest population on earth and they are lucky if they get 1 gold medal during the Olympics. They aren't athletes, and cricket is full of sub par athletes.
Meanwhile USA tops out the gold medals almost every 4 years the Olympics come around.

Soccer is a sport with real athletes though, and USA is lagging behind there. Though it seems to be picking up in popularity some over the last 5-6 years and the paychecks are getting bigger, so maybe in another couple decades USA might catch up if it keeps drawing more attention state side.
