People shouldnt overlook the Las Vegas Raiders..

Are people seriously overlooking the Raiders?

The Raiders have drastically revamped their **** ass defense with a legit defensive coordinator in Gus Bradley( for the unaware he was the architect behind the the Legion of Boom).

They drafted a star safety in the 2nd round in Moerhig( Guy will be DOY srs), have signed 2 very good linebackers in perryman and Wright( he was ranked 67 on Nfl’s 100 great players),signed DE pro bowler Yannick Ngakoue, signed DT Gerald McCoy, probowler Casey Hayward.

The Raiders went from weakness to a legit solid LB group that can not only tackle and sack the Qb but cover in the passing game. The combination of Maxx Crosby and Ngakouske is a deadly one( Ask Mahomes how he feels bout Crosby)

Lets not forget the Raiders offense who can hang with the best of them( again ask the chiefs). Plus keep an eye on WR Bryan Edwards- He has been compared by many in the organization as the next TO srs. Lets not forget about Waller…dude is a phenomenon. Ruggs apparently is a “ big box of surprise “ according to Carr and will play like the first round pick he is.


Remember the Raiders were ONE drive away from sweeping the Chiefs and played tight with the Buccaneers during the season and were tied at one point…until the defense gave Brady a play to seal the deal.


This team is VERY close from being scary as ****. If that defense even ranks in the middle of the pack… watch out.


As for the opener guess who has a real good track record in stopping Jackson?

You would think in 2019 that the Antonio Brown debacle and Clelin Ferrell pick would be the worst mistakes Gruden and Mayock would make but gol'dayum 2020 came in said hold my fukkin beer

Arnette is currently a potential backup on an ungood defense

Edwards was hurt last year and Ruggs was a rookie. Many of the top picks usually struggle the first year and blossom after.

I don't believe these games were outliers or coincidence for what it's worth.

Gruden does coach up well for big games, and has always had hate in his heart for the Chiefs
It's the other 14ish weeks of reg season and 6mo of offseason that are head scratchers

And in all actuality, that L they handed KC in week 6 turned out to be a positive
The Chiefs were 14-1 with the #1 locked up going into the last week of 2020 and were able to rest the starters for week 17

If KC had been 15-0 instead there were would have a very interesting decision for Andy

Not directly Raiders related but the Ravens just suffered 2 huge injuries to Marcus peters and Gus Edwards….ouch

They can be a solid team but they aren’t contending. Outside shot of getting into the playoffs though.

Outside of KC, Buffalo, Tennessee and Cleveland nobody has a shot at making the super bowl from the AFC
