Vaccine nuthuggers can't even defend its efficacy anymore, official stats just eviscerate every argument to get these shots.

Look at Israel, the most vaccinated population on the planet - sky rocketing cases, this means its working right??




Just so we're clear, in the height of the pandemic last summer, before anyone got vaccinated, we had less cases/hospitalisations/deaths......and now they're trying to convince people they need a booster?? lmao wtf is this clown world bullchit

This is not an argument for or against, just stating the obvious that people cherry pick stuff from data without critical thinking. Probably not even thinking in general. You do realise that cumulative cases are lower last year because of lockdowns and millions of people not testing because there were no mandatory PCR test requirements to do things.

Although the vaccines may protect select individuals, society-wide they're more harmful than good.




The people were led to believe that if they took the shot they'd have >90% IMMUNITY FROM INFECTION.

That's not the case. The vaccines are not creating immunity.

The vaccines are creating a situation where lots of asymptomatic people are carrying and transmitting more virulent forms of virus, as opposed to the natural immunity situation where the symptomatic sick stay home or in hospital and contain the more virulent mutations while the less virulent ones get passed around and more dominant.

It's now a 'pandemic of the vaccinated' because it's heavily the vaccinated who are spreading the virus.

Vaccination should be greatly limited to the top 5% highest at risk and no one else.

I don't agree with vaccine passports and the covid-19 vaccines aren't that great at reducing the spread of infection, with waning protection (not immunity) but the first tweet is a dumb take that lacks context.

In my neck of the woods, one dose is partial vaccination and two doses (including mixed) is full. Third doses are being offered for immunocompromised people, but we don't currently have any plans for generalized third doses.


I'm on board with third doses if our health authorities move towards them due to wavering immunity or whatever, but the priority right now should likely be getting 1st and 2nd doses to less fortunate parts of the world

70% coverage should have been sufficient, unfortunately unvaccinated people are still ending up in hospitals/ICUs in high enough numbers to excessively burden the health care system. In my province right now, 77% of COVID patients in hospital and 89% in the ICU are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated despite making up a small fraction of the overall population, and we're already delaying other medical procedures as a result. Our focus has shifted to achieving high enough coverage to limit the number of unvaccinated people catching COVID and requiring treatment.

None of this matters if you don't trust your system. If and when my health authorities move towards a third shot+, I'll be there to help fight this thing.

Do you have any official numbers? Last year, the percentage of people dying was quite low and almost exclusively elderly people who were obese and had multiple comorbidities.

It’s been known for months that one shot is considerably less effective for Delta. That goes for disease and infection. With infection one shot is like a 20% reduction while two is about 50%.

Israel is only ~ 8% higher than the US for fully vaxxed — nearly 40% of its population is not fully vaxxed. Seeing that Delta is 2-3 times more transmissible than the variants circulating this time last year, why does it surprise you that cases are so high?
