Second employee off work from vaccine...

Some may remember a month or so ago I made a post about a fella on the crew who was off for two weeks with brutal symptoms after the second shot. Chitting blood, couldn't hardly stand up... Called telehealth ontario and they said this was normal and could last up to 21 days.

He is back at work now, like normal. Still more tired than usual tho.

Another guy, about 20 years old got second shot last Tuesday, and has not left his room since. Armpits all swelled up and lumpy, explosive chits, fever and bad fatigue. His dad works for us, and his dad confirms. His mom keeps bringing him soup because he can't stand up long enough to make food...kid hasn't missed a day in months before this. Out of 16 guys on the crew, 3 have lost time cuz vaccine. One guy lost a week, but he is like 70, so that doesn't really count.


Having employees away for great lengths of time sucks ass. At least grandma is safe...

He just messaged me right now. Said the armpit lumps ate going down, but his left arm is in excruciating pain now, like it's being dipped in boiling water.

Asked what I thought he should do.


Jesus, I dunno... go to the hospital? But what will they do, it's the medicine that made him sick...

Actually, we do all that and more. Morning screenings, hand sanitizer, masks required when closer than 6.
