I’ve never been antivax

Cali has a sept 30th deadline for those in healthcare settings and I’ve been holding out getting tested every week lol.

It’s not the fact I’m scared of it it’s just the fact I feel like I don’t fukin need it. Why lower an already low death/hospitalization for my age group and health status with a vaccine. And I’m 90% sure i have natural immunity since I’ve been CONFIRMED exposed so many times with a stupid surgical mask on.

As long as my parents are protected I don’t really care.

Also I don’t like the idea of government forcing me to take something just to live daily life and buy groceries lmao. That’s straight up tyranny.

I’m old enough to remember that the flu shot was optional in hospitals if you wore a mask.

You are MORE susceptible for 2 weeks after your shot

Immunity WANES after 3 months

Due to Original Antigenic Sin, you are more susceptible to variants, because you only have immunity to 1 spike protein, whereas natural immunity you get antibodies for ~4-5 things

And just like flu shots, if you get infected with flu but its not 1 of the 5 flu strains the shot looks for, it will hit you HARDER
