There's nothing cheeky about it. Suppressors don't make guns silent like in the movies, so the argument that they somehow make guns deadlier is completely invalid. The purpose of suppressors is literally hearing protection.

It's completely legal to own a suppressor in the US, as long as you jump through the bureaucratic hoops of paying a $200 tax and waiting months for your paperwork to be processed. The Hearing Protection Act just gets rid of the bureaucratic bullsht.

If you don't have a 22 can, I'd strongly recommend a Form 1 for one. It's so much more enjoyable, and only takes 30 days.
