That could potentially be a double deficit deadlift. I got some 450mm plates when setting up my home gym and noticed that they sat an inch higher than the generic cheapo plates I had.
I don't really do these ever but it's like 1.5" plus I'm wearing .5" weightlifting shoes

Bro I had a pinched nerve in my neck at the beginning of the year. I lost more than 50% strength in my right arm. Now my left side is feeling weak. Not gonna put weights on my head any time soon.

edit: what would you suggest I do though?

for some reason powerlifters act like you'll get hurt lowering it slowly. Only time I've ever hurt my back was right off the floor.
