Self employed brah checking in. I report every dollar that goes through my business account not a penny less. The trick is just being creative with write offs that you could feasibly justify in the event of an audit. This can take you really far.

I got audited by my state.
I ended up getting 5k in BS fines/owed BS
I tried to play off poor and asked for a no interest payment plan or a settlement for less
They said no. You have blank (how much I had) in your blank account and we will pull it by the end of the week if you do not pay

They really don't, actually. All they do is have access to your w2. If you don't believe me then sell your car for a 1,000 gain, then have your bank account increase by +1,000. IRS won't know or tax you on it

we already had the Patriot Act and Bank Secrecy Act, which pretty much hands power over to the govt so they can go in raw into bank accts and financial information to stop "terrorism" and money laundering, although tbh im not sure if the IRS is involved
