Would you move from a city with a Vaccine mandate?

I live in the Bay Area(in one of two cities in the country that has a vaccine mandate).

It started with gyms, bars and restaurants, which was ****ty enough. Then it was indoor sports leagues. Now, even when I tried to join an outdoor recreational sports league, I just found out they had their own covid policy that mandates vaccines with no exceptions(even with my recent positive antibody test). People here have officially gone insane.

Now with the work mandates that are going into effect nationwide, it feels like the walls have completely closed in on me here.

With that said, would any brahs here actually end their lease early and move in this type of situation to another state(my roommate is a good friend of mine and wouldn’t be leaving so it would kinda suck). Starting to feel like I have no other option, but who knows if shortly after I do the rest of the country starts putting in mandates. Or, on the more positive side, what if one month from now natural immunity gets accepted nationwide and I didn’t need to leave. Or, If novovax gets approved sooner than later, which I might actually be willing to take.

There’s just so much up in the air, and I have no idea who to even talk about this **** with because people these days are just insane and illogical. Never thought I would actually consult the misc about a major life decision

Once month from now if natural immunity gets accepted, you still live in an overpriced overtaxed state that people have been fleeing for years. There’s no guarantee that the pos governor will allow that reasoning to end both mask and lockdown mandates. You’re also still surrounded by a population majority that happily elected this governor who forced this, while he and his family lived like free people for the last year and half. These same exact people will probably vote for him in the recall. Don’t plan on anything great happening under this idiot leadership and population of people.

I moved out of the city to a rural area outside town a few years ago just because I almost couldn't stand democrats anymore. I'm definitely glad I did, my little acreage has doubled in value in 6 years.

Once all the ******** floyd stuff popped off I was elated that I made the right choice

Always super tempting, but I feel like I’d get bored in a small town. My party years aren’t completely behind me yet.

Oh I’m most definitely leaving next spring when my lease is up anyways. It’s just whether I go through the logistics of breaking my lease and finding a new job now when I previously wasn’t quite ready to leave yet. I was going to put up with the ****ty parts of living in California for another 6 months because there are some perks here and I did have a social life here. But this whole thing just completely blindsided in a matter of weeks.

Sadly I'm pretty much bound by my employer and they just mandated it. Moving wouldn't fix the problem for me unless I swapped jobs and that's easier said than done.

Trick question - They can't bring in mask mandate because Americans have guns.

Not going to fall me OP, not today.

trying to do so right now, NYC brah here

Vaxx mandates for just about everything.

Trying to move down south as much as I hated the idea at first (do not want to be on that marriage by 25 crew). It's tough man.

Luckily I have found a loophole and can break outta my lease, just need to have someone takeover and they have.

You really think red states will allow it? I have a feeling red state governors will use everything at their disposal to ensure it doesn’t hit their states.

I was in San Diego a few weeks ago. I’ve been thinking of moving down there for the last few years.

I'll probably leave my country after this lunacy. The problem is, I'm not currently allowed to leave at all (literal prisoner here) and when international finally opens, they will only let vaccinated people travel at first. The question is how long can they keep us as second class citizens? I don't think it will be very long tbh. I won't comply with any restrictions and sooner or later they will ease up and I'll be out of here.

Because you can face years of prison time. And there’s a database now.
